REVIEW: Indiana Jones The Adventure Collection

When it comes to action
adventure icons in films the first one that comes to mind is
Indiana Jones. Since the released of the first film "Indiana
Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark" back in 1981, follow by
"Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom" in 1984 and
completing the trilogy in 1989 with "Indiana Jones The Last
Crusade". The Indiana Jones franchise has manage to build a
strong fans base around the globe, earning six Academy
Awards® and nearly $1.2 billion worldwide. All three films
created and produced by George Lucas, under the direction of
Steven Spielberg with screenplay by Phillip Kaufman
Just before the release of
the new film "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal
Skull" Paramount Home Entertainment is releasing "Indiana
Jones The Adventure Collection Box Set" on DVD on May
13, 2008. This new collection it is very similar or may be
the same as 2003 restored and remastered edition "The
Adventures of Indiana Jones". The only differences is
in the bonus features. The new "Adventure Collection"
includes all new special features not seeing before
including never-before-seen explorations of the making of
these classic movies and showcase the characters, action and
extraordinary visual effects for this classics films
The feel and look of this films is exceptional in this
"Adventure Edition". With an extraordinary sound and quality
picture this edition is a must have or must see before the
release of the new film "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of
the Crystal Skull". The bonus feature in this edition are
very intuitive giving true fans a total look on how this
cinema classics were created.
There is not dough that
Paramount Home Entertainment is making the last DVD push for
this franchise. before focusing in the Blu-Ray release,
however this "Adventure Collection" it is a must have for
Indiana Jones fans if you are missing this title in your
personal collection.
Just in case you don't want
to get the Box set, for the first time on DVD you will be
able to get individual DVDs and add your
favorite Indiana Jones film to your collection.
