Joe Bill “Rack” Racklin (Keith) is a rogue Oklahoma deputy
sheriff who has just watched another girlfriend pack up and
drive out of his life. As fate would have it, his old flame
Annie (Claire Forlani, TV’s “CSI: NY”) returns home from the
big city. Their reunion is abruptly interrupted when Annie
is kidnapped and held for ransom by the drug lord brother of
a recently arrested inmate, Tito (Greg Serano, TV’s
“Wildfire”). In exchange for Annie, Rack must bring Tito to
his brother in Juarez, Mexico. Despite the Sheriff’s (Skerritt)
demand that Rack not get involved, he takes the law into his
own hands and enlists the help of his best friend and fellow
deputy Lonnie (Carrington). The two take a raucous road trip
across state lines to rescue Annie as the Sheriff
desperately tries to track them down before the Feds arrive
to pick up Tito in Oklahoma City.
